Arthur David “Art” Holden, age 68, died July 25, 2012 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri.

Born December 13, 1943 in Parma, Missouri, son of the late Charles and Mildred Lashley Holden, he attended First Assembly of God and had been a supervisor for DeWitt Company for 21 years before retiring.

He is survived by one son, Michael Holden of Sikeston; a daughter, Suzie Manes of Fort Pierce, Florida; one brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Cheri Holden of Sikeston; one sister and brother-in-law, Margaret Dian and Troy Carmack of Horn Lake, Mississippi; and two grandchildren.

Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 26 at Ponder Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held Friday, July 27, at 10:00 a.m. Rev. David B. Ross, pastor of First Baptist Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
