Donald James Adams, age 76, of Risco, MO. and formerly of Camdenton, Mo., died at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo. on Saturday August 4, 2012.
Born October 24, 1935, in Lilbourn, Mo., son of the late James and Marie Gremore Adams, he was of the Baptist belief and a retired auto mechanic.
On January 8, 1977 he married Erma Sloan who preceded him in death on June 11, 2008.
Survivors include three daughters, Pam Norman of Dudley, Mo., Debbie Smith of Poplar Bluff, Mo. and Linda Stanley of Dexter, Mo.; two brothers, Ron Adams of Gideon, Mo. and George Adams of New Madrid, Mo.; five sisters, Dixie Corn, Pat Taylor and Carol Blagg all of Risco, Mo., Vickie Klein of Conway, Ark., and Sandy Turner of Warrenton, Mo.; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Adams; one brother, John Adams; and one sister, Doris Ogden.
Graveside rites will be held at Elm Grove Cemetery in Richland, Missouri on Tuesday August 7, 2012, at 1:00 p.m.
